WCU RAVENS Waivers and Consents
Westgate Christian University will not be held responsible for the outcome in the event
the student has failed to fulfill ALL ACADEMIC obligations. If there are any questions or
concerns, contact the schools Chief Administrator.
WCU NO TOLERANCE POLICY
Any student/athlete caught participating in any illegal activity including violence
(including possession of a Firearm) towards another person or property as well as drug-
related incidents will be placed under AUTOMATIC DISMISSAL
FEES
Fees must be paid by the deadlines. If fees are not paid by the deadlines, STUDENTS
may be subject to losing their place on the class roster and legal action will take place to
recover the balance even in the event of dismissal or self-departure. Any fees paid to
WCU are non-refundable.
INSURANCE
All students, staff and faculty must carry individual health insurance. Participants in any
WCU program cannot be involved in any activities until proof of insurance is provided.

BEHAVIOR
Students should always be aware of their actions and conduct themselves in a
respectful manner. Any unacceptable behavior or any signs of disrespect will not be
tolerated by ANYONE; this includes physical, mental or verbal. Students will be subject
to removal from the university after a hearing conducted by WCU administration.
TRANSPORTATION
WCU is not responsible for transportation.
ACADEMICS
WCU will not be held accountable for the academic progress of any student; however,
progress will be monitored, and verification of your class schedule is MANDATORY.
WCU is not responsible for registering students for classes. Students are to register and
attend class through WCU or its approved partners failure to register and attend class
will result in dismissal from WCU. You will provide a copy of your initial Class
Registration and Mid-Semester Progress grades. It is the student’s responsibility to
attend study hall and tutoring; these services are available upon request. Any student
not making adequate progress or following the rules will be dismissed from the program.
PHOTO RELEASE
I hereby grant WESTGATE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY permission to use my likeness in
a photograph or other digital reproduction in all its publications, including website
entries, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these
materials will become the property of WCU and will be returned UPON WRITTEN
REQUEST. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product,
including written or
electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears.
WAIVERS
In consideration of acceptance of my entry into WESTGATE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY,
I, for myself, my heirs, my executors, my administrators, my trustees, and any and all
successors in interest, fully and forever waive and release any and all rights and claims
for any injuries and damages including death DURING ANY WCU ACTIVITY NO
MATTER THE LOCATION, ANY COMPETITION EVENT OR TRAVEL including but not
limited to demands or actions for negligence, premises liability, emotional injury,
intentional conduct, resulting in unintended injury or damage tort claims, any other
actions or demands of whatsoever nature, to the fullest extent permitted by law, I may
have against all sponsors of WESTGATE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY and all employees,
principals, directors, shareholders, agents, members, managers, affiliates, volunteers,
officials, and representatives acting for or on behalf of any of these entities
acknowledge that I am aware of the inherent risks involved in the event, and I voluntarily
assume these risks. I attest and verify that I am physically fit, and I have sufficiently
trained for competition, and that a medical doctor has verified my physical condition. As
a condition of my participation WESTGATE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, I hereby grant
WESTGATE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY a limited license to use my name, likeness,
image, voice, video, athletic performance, biographical and other information
(collectively, “Likeness”),in any format whatsoever, and to distribute, broadcast and
exhibit these without charge, restriction or liability, but only for the purposes of
advertising or promoting SSJAGS/SUSLA.
This is a legal binding contract. Your submission acknowledges that you understand all
aspects of Westgate Christian University. You MAY submit this document electronically
or hand deliver and agree to its totality. Your enrollment at WCU may be in jeopardy if at
any time there is disregard for the Rules and Regulations stated in this application.
WCU will not be held responsible for the outcome due to a student’s failure to complete
